Osun Disburses Palliatives to Civil Servants

The Osun State Government has disbursed another round of palliative payments to civil servants across the state to cushion the impact of economic challenges.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by the spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Olawale Rasheed.

Rasheed said the intervention was aimed at supporting workers and improving their welfare.

He added that the state had been making periodic palliative payments to civil servants even before the implementation of the new minimum wage.

The government said the continued payments are part of efforts to boost workers’ morale and improve public service delivery.
