The Imole Campaign Council has pledged to deliver 1.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, following the appointment of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as the state coordinator of the president’s campaign council.
The council’s Director-General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, announced the pledge in a statement on Tuesday, welcoming Adeleke’s inclusion in the revised All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council list.
Oyewumi expressed confidence in Adeleke’s ability to mobilise support for Tinubu in Osun State, saying the council would work with the Accord Party’s structure to achieve the target.
He also urged residents to support Adeleke’s administration, describing backing for Tinubu as a way of supporting the governor.
Adeleke, who contested the 2026 Osun governorship election on the platform of the Accord Party, won with 511,067 votes, defeating the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who polled 444,815 votes.
Other prominent figures listed in the revised presidential campaign council include the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo.
