The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has introduced an online system allowing 2026 UTME candidates to verify and upload their O’Level results from home.
The new system, which initially covers results issued by the West African Examinations Council, is aimed at reducing candidates’ dependence on Computer-Based Test centres for result uploads.
JAMB said the new process will also help prevent errors, fraudulent results and problems associated with manual uploads.
Under the new arrangement, candidates can verify their results electronically with the examination body before uploading them to their JAMB profiles.
To use the service, candidates are required to obtain a result verification code through JAMB’s designated verification portal. They will provide details including their National Identification Number, examination details, email address and phone number before completing payment.
After successful verification, candidates will receive a verification code, which they can use to complete the O’Level upload through their JAMB e-Facility profile.
Candidates with two O’Level sittings can select the verified results and upload the required subjects to their profiles.
JAMB said the initiative is designed to reduce physical visits, queues and paperwork, particularly during periods of high patronage at CBT centres.
The Board urged candidates to follow the prescribed procedure carefully to ensure successful verification and upload of their results.
