Tension erupted at the Federal High Court Abuja on Monday as a group of youths staged a protest over the continued detention of blogger Justice Crack.

The situation escalated when operatives of the Department of State Services attempted to escort him out of the court premises following his arraignment.

In response, protesters formed a human barricade around the operatives, chanting “Free Justice Crack” and demanding his immediate release. They described his detention as unjust and called for intervention from the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.

Some demonstrators also urged Nigerians in Abuja to gather at the Ministry of Justice, appealing for broader support. They expressed concern that his next court date, scheduled for May 26, would mean prolonged detention.

Activists and influencers, including Omoyele Sowore and Peter Akah, were present at the scene, joining calls for his release.
