The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three suspected kidnappers linked to the abduction of a resident, Marian Remi, in Ido Local Government Area.
The suspects, identified as Musa Ajibola (29), Hassan Mohammadu (63), and Umaru Hassan (19), were apprehended on April 21 at Latayo Farm Settlement, Ile-Idu, following actionable intelligence provided by members of the public.
According to police authorities, the arrest was made after a coordinated operation ordered by the Commissioner of Police. Investigations revealed that the suspects were directly involved in the kidnapping and subsequent release of the victim.
During interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to their roles in the crime, offering further insight into the operation. Efforts are ongoing to track down other accomplices and ensure all those involved are brought to justice.
