The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State has suspended its chairman, Sikiru Jimoh, and some other members over alleged anti-party activities.

The suspension reportedly affects members nominated by former Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, and Alhaji Razaq Gbadegesin Agbeti.

In a statement, the party accused some members of secretly collaborating with opposition elements and allegedly receiving financial inducements to work against its interests while retaining their APM membership.

The party said the decision was aimed at enforcing internal discipline, protecting its structure and preventing activities capable of undermining its unity and electoral prospects.

The suspended members were reportedly directed to stay away from party activities pending further developments. The party also urged members to remain loyal to its leadership and uphold unity and collective responsibility.
