NRS Warns Nigerians Over Fake FIRS Recruitment Advert

The Nigeria Revenue Service has warned Nigerians against a fake recruitment notice circulating online in the name of the defunct Federal Inland Revenue Service.

The NRS said the notice, titled “Federal Inland Revenue Service – FIRS Job Vacancy – Replacement,” is fraudulent and did not originate from the agency.

It clarified that it has not authorised or commenced any recruitment exercise, urging Nigerians to disregard the notice and avoid responding to suspicious recruitment messages or links.

The Service advised job seekers to verify recruitment information through its official website and authorised communication channels before taking any action.
