NSCDC Arrests Three Over NNPC Pipeline Vandalism in Abuja

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Capital Territory Command, has arrested three suspects over the alleged vandalism of an NNPC petroleum pipeline in Dafa, Kwali Area Council, Abuja.

The suspects were arrested on September 20 while allegedly attempting to load vandalised pipeline sections into a truck.

The NSCDC identified them as Maitama Inuwa, the truck driver; Yahuza Danlami, the motor boy; and Yasir Abdulrahman, an alleged representative of the dealers of the vandalised pipes.

The command said four other suspects linked to the operation remain at large.

One truck loaded with vandalised pipeline pipes and 17 pieces of pipeline were recovered.
