President Bola Tinubu has declared that Nigeria’s difficult phase of economic reforms is over, stating that the sacrifices made by citizens in the past three years are beginning to produce positive results for the economy.

In his Eid-el-Kabir message to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on Tuesday, the President said the country is now experiencing a more stable economy and attracting increased investment capable of creating jobs and boosting growth.

According to him, the reforms introduced by his administration are gradually positioning Nigeria as a preferred destination for investors.

“The walk through the dark tunnel is over, and the light is here,” Tinubu stated.

The President linked the spirit of sacrifice associated with Eid-el-Kabir to the economic challenges Nigerians have endured, expressing optimism that the reforms would continue to deliver greater opportunities and improved security across the country.

He assured Nigerians that his administration remains committed to strengthening security despite ongoing attacks by terrorists and bandits in some communities.

Tinubu acknowledged recent security gains, including the elimination of a senior ISIS leader in the Lake Chad Basin through a joint operation involving Nigerian and United States forces.

“I assure you: you are neither abandoned nor forgotten. We will ultimately defeat all the forces of evil,” he said.

The President also called on Nigerians, especially Muslim faithful, to use the Eid celebration to pray for peace, national unity, and wisdom for leaders.

He urged citizens to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, compassion, selflessness, and unity, which he said are central lessons of Eid-el-Kabir and the example of Prophet Ibrahim.

Tinubu further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in infrastructure, agriculture, security, and human capital development to unlock the nation’s full potential.
