President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing vacancies and strengthen leadership across ministries and agencies.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Ibrahim Abdulkarim Ozi from the Federal Capital Territory, Ezemama John Chidiebere from Imo State, Garba Abdul Sule Usman representing the North Central zone, Mohammed Musa Ishiyaku from the North East, and Ukaire Binyerem Chigbowu from the South East.
A statement from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation said the appointments followed a rigorous and transparent selection process conducted in line with President Tinubu’s commitment to merit, competence, and excellence in public service.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and praised the President for his continued effort to professionalise the civil service. She expressed confidence that the new Permanent Secretaries would bring valuable experience and leadership to their respective roles, enhancing service delivery and advancing the government’s development agenda.
