President Bola Tinubu has ended his working vacation in France and departed Paris for Lagos, where he is expected to meet with political leaders and associates ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Presidency said Tinubu, who left Abuja on August 30 and spent time in London before travelling to Paris, will also honour the late Chief MKO Abiola by attending the October 1 premiere of a movie about the former presidential candidate at the Wole Soyinka National Theatre in Lagos.
The President is expected to return to Abuja after completing his engagements in Lagos.
Former France striker Olivier Giroud has indicated that he could retire from professional football at the end of the current season. The Lille forward, who turns 40 on Wednesday, said it was “very probably” his final season as a player and that he was determined to enjoy every remaining moment.
