13-Year-Old Schoolboy Kills Teacher in Slovakia Attack

A 13-year-old schoolboy has been detained after a knife attack at a school in Staskov, northwestern Slovakia, left a teacher dead and two others injured.

The attack occurred on Tuesday morning after the first class. Police said the boy was being investigated for premeditated murder. The deceased was a 61-year-old teacher, while another teacher and a schoolgirl were taken to hospital. The student was reported to be in critical condition, while the injured teacher was said to be out of danger.

Police said the situation was under control and investigations were ongoing. Authorities have not confirmed a motive for the attack.
