The All Progressives Congress in Ogun State has unveiled its campaign council ahead of the 2027 elections, with Governor Dapo Abiodun, former governors Olusegun Osoba, Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun among those assigned key roles.
Abiodun will serve as Chairman of the 156-member campaign council, while the APC governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola, will be Co-Chairman. Senator Lekan Mustapha was named Director-General.
Former Governor Olusegun Osoba will serve as Grand Patron, while Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun will serve as Deputy Grand Patrons.
Deputy Governor Noimot Salako-Oyedele and the party’s Deputy Governorship candidate, Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun, were named Deputy Chairmen.
The campaign structure will coordinate grassroots mobilisation, media and publicity, logistics, youth and women engagement, and other activities across Ogun State’s 20 local government areas.
State APC Chairman Yemi Sanusi urged members of the council to work together to secure victory for the party in the presidential, governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections in 2027.
