Osun@35: Adeleke Vows to Heal Osun, Unite Residents After Election

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has pledged to heal divisions in the state and run an inclusive administration following the recent governorship election.

In a state broadcast to mark Osun’s 35th anniversary, Adeleke acknowledged the deaths and injuries linked to the electoral crisis and urged residents to avoid violence and reprisal attacks.

He announced plans to establish a Commission of Inquiry into the electoral violence and an election victims’ compensation fund to cushion the impact on affected residents.

Adeleke also pledged to build on his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture and the digital economy, with continued attention to youths, women and students.
