Eid-el-Maulud: Tinubu Urges Muslims to Embrace Prophet’s Virtues

President Bola Tinubu has urged Muslims across Nigeria to use this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration to reflect on the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, including devotion, perseverance, tolerance, humility and selflessness.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu said the celebration should go beyond festivities and serve as a period of prayer and reflection.

The President urged religious leaders to pray for an end to insecurity and other challenges facing the country, while encouraging Muslims to promote peace, unity and progress.

He also called on Muslims to show compassion and generosity by supporting the needy and vulnerable in the spirit of the celebration.

Tinubu wished the Muslim faithful a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
