The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has expressed his readiness to collaborate with University of California, Los Angeles, Sadiat Toyin Lawal Foundation, and Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry to improve healthcare delivery across Ibadanland.

The monarch made this known while receiving representatives of the organisations at his palace in Oke-Aremo, within Ibadan North Local Government Area. He emphasised that the wellbeing of residents remains a top priority, noting that good health is essential for a thriving society.

He also revealed that he had facilitated discussions between the visiting delegation and the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board to ensure a structured and effective partnership.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Toyin Lawal said the visit was aimed at building collaboration on community-based health initiatives. She explained that plans are underway to support primary healthcare centres, tertiary institutions, and local governments through the donation of medical equipment and other essential resources.

According to her, a proposal focusing on health advocacy, education, and public sensitisation has already been submitted for consideration as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare services in Ibadanland.
