The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that only about 40 percent of registered Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) will be accommodated for the 2025 Batch C orientation exercise.

In a statement released on its official X handle on Tuesday, the scheme explained that the limitation was due to capacity constraints in orientation camps across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to the NYSC management, call-up numbers for Batch C PCMs have already been released in line with the order of registration.

It assured that all remaining prospective corps members who could not be mobilised in the current batch would be automatically assigned to the next orientation exercise, which will take place shortly after Batch C.

“Please note that due to camp capacity across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT, only about 40 percent of registered Prospective Corps Members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme,” the statement read.

The management reaffirmed its commitment to a smooth, transparent, and hitch-free mobilisation process, promising a seamless service year experience for all participants.
