Imisi Ayanwale has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, securing ₦80 million in cash and a total grand prize package worth ₦150 million.
The humorous and outspoken housemate emerged victorious during Sunday night’s electrifying live finale, concluding a season filled with drama, laughter, emotional twists, and unforgettable moments.
Imisi, known for her comic timing, authenticity, and ability to ease tension in the house, edged out top contenders — including Dede, who finished as the first runner-up, as well as Koyin, Kola, Isabella, and Kaybobo.
Her vibrant personality and witty remarks earned her a devoted fan base, affectionately dubbed “Ijoba 606,” which rallied behind her throughout the season. Viewers applauded her ability to stay true to herself, while also navigating challenges with resilience and humour.
The finale saw a surprise twist when Koyin was unexpectedly evicted, narrowing the competition to Imisi and Dede. Both were then asked to exit the house for the final stage reveal — a moment that kept fans across the country on edge.
In keeping with Big Brother tradition, the lights in the house were turned off following their exit — a symbolic and emotional end to a season that captivated millions.
Season 10 premiered over two nights, July 26 and 27, with 29 housemates entering the house. Only nine made it to the finale: Kola, Imisi, Isabella, Sultana, Jason Jae, Mensan, Koyin, Kaybobo, and Dede. Notably, Faith, who reached the finals, was disqualified just days before the finale.
This season has been hailed as one of the most engaging in the show’s history, packed with viral highlights, emotional evictions, and dynamic gameplay that dominated online conversations for weeks.
With her win, Imisi joins the ranks of past BBNaija champions including Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, and Ilebaye, each remembered for leaving a unique imprint on the Big Brother legacy.
