Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has named the newly completed Lafia Flyover and underpass after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The announcement was made on Wednesday during the official commissioning of the project in Lafia, the headquarters of Lafia Local Government Area.
The governor said the project was inspired by President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, adding that the project was completed due to prudent resource management.
During the inauguration, President Tinubu commended Governor Sule for prioritizing projects that have a direct and positive impact on the lives of the people
The President also expressed joy for the warm reception accorded him by the good people of Nasarawa state and called on the residents to remain committed to the administration’s vision of economic recovery and national prosperity.
The announcement was contained in a circular issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo. According to the governor, the day has been designated as a public holiday to enable Muslims and other residents of the state to celebrate the Islamic New Year and reflect on its spiritual importance.
