GOVERNOR MAKINDE, OTHERS MOURN OYO PDP CHIEFTAIN, ADEOJO

The Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has mourned the death of Peoples Democratic Party chieftain and Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Yekini Adeojo, who passed away in the early hours of today.

In a condolence message released by his Special Adviser on Media by Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Governor described Alhaji Adeojo as one of the last men standing in the state as a political, community and religious leader.

Adeojo was a former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP, and also the first PDP gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State.

His passing has been met with an outpouring of tributes and condolences from across the political spectrum, with many praising his contributions to Nigerian democracy and his commitment to the development of Oyo State.
