NCDC RAISES THE ALARM OVER RISING MENINGITIS CASES, REPORTS 74 DEATHS
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has expressed concern over the rising cases of Cerebrospinal Meningitis in the country. NCDC Director-General, Dr. Jide Idris, disclosed this in an interview Agency of today in Abuja. Idris said the agency has activated emergency response measures, particularly in Kebbi, Katsina, and Sokoto—the worst-hit states.
