PDP WINS ALL SEATS IN LG POLLS IN OYO STATE

The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC has announced results of Saturday’s 27th April local government election.

The results show that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party,PDP won all the chairmanship seats and councillorship positions in the 33 local government area of the state.

OYSIEC Chairman, Aare Isiaka Olagunju (SAN) while announcing announced the results at the commission’s headquarters on Sunday, described the poll as free, fair, credible and violence-free.

Meanwhile the main opposition party in the state,All Progressives Congress,APC has called for the cancellation of the election which it alleged was rigged massively by the PDP administration.
