The Oyo State government has confirmed receipt of a letter indicating the nomination of the current Balogun of Ibadanland, Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Recall that the Olubadan-in-Council which consists of High Chiefs in Ibadan has appointed Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland last week friday at the meeting chaired by the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland and a former governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.
