The Oyo State Government has sealed a company engaging in the recycling of waste tyres, to produce Pyrolysis oil, carbon black and steel wire as byproducts. NIMET PREDICTS DUST HAZE FOR 3 DAYS

The Nigerian meteorological agency has forecast dust haze from today to Thursday across the country. According to NiMet, moderate dust haze with a horizontal visibility range of 1km to 3km and localized visibility of less than or equal to 1km is expected over the North Central region and South during the forecast period. The agency however urged citizens with respiratory issues to use a face mask where possible and be cautious of the present weather situation.

Reports say that the legendary poet and playwright who died today at the age of 81 following a brief illness has been in and out of the hospital from December 2023. OYO STATE GOVERNMENT SUSPENDS MONARCH

The Oyo state commissioner for Information and Orientation ,Prince Dotun Oyelade has shed light on the  suspension of the Onido of Ido land,Oba Babalola Gbolagade. The commissioner in a statement revealed that the traditional ruler was suspended due to a report linking him to illegal miners in Ido local government area of the state. Prince Oyelade, however  noted that the state government will take tough measures on anyone who contravenes the law in the territory.
