The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited,NNPCL, has uncovered no fewer than 34 illegal refineries and 17 pipeline connections across the Niger Delta region in one week. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has recorded its largest single asset recovery since its establishment in 2003, following the final forfeiture of an estate comprising 753 duplexes and apartments in Abuja.
