Tinubu Hails Hausa as Pillars of Nigeria’s Unity

President Bola Tinubu has described the Hausa people as important pillars of Nigeria’s unity and progress.

Tinubu stated this in a message on his X handle on Wednesday to commemorate Hausa Day, being celebrated at the historic Daura Palace.

The President said the Hausa language has flourished and become a major language of unity and commerce globally.

He congratulated the Hausa community on the occasion and acknowledged its contribution to the country’s development.

Hausa Day, also known as World Hausa Day or Ranar Hausa, is observed annually on August 26 to promote the Hausa language and culture.
