JAMB Opens Portal for Printing of 2026 UTME Original Result Slips

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates can now print their 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) original result slips.

The announcement was made on Wednesday in a statement by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

According to the board, the original result slips became available for printing within hours of the announcement and contain candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and other security features required for admission processing.

JAMB explained that the original result slip is an official document needed for post-UTME screening and admission into tertiary institutions across the country.

The board also stated that candidates can conveniently print the document from any internet-enabled device, including personal computers, mobile devices, or accredited business centres.

Candidates were advised to carefully verify the information on their result slips after printing and keep copies for future admission purposes.

The release follows the conclusion of the 2026 UTME exercise, including the mop-up examination conducted on June 13 for candidates affected by technical or biometric challenges during the main examination.

JAMB had earlier delayed the printing of the original result slips to allow the completion of foreign-based examinations and the mop-up exercise.

With the result slips now available, candidates can proceed with post-UTME registration and other admission processes for the 2026/2027 academic session as many tertiary institutions begin their admission screening exercises.
