Olubadan unveils Ibadan community guard.

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rasidi Ladoja, has inaugurated the Ibadan Community Guard to work alongside security agencies in strengthening policing across the 11 Local Government Areas of the ancient city.

The inauguration ceremony, held at the Olubadan Palace in Oke Aremo, Ibadan, was part of efforts to improve security in parts of Ibadanland facing growing safety concerns.

The newly launched Community Guard is expected to be deployed across all eleven local government areas to support security operations and enhance surveillance at the grassroots level.

Also inaugurated at the event were the Ibadan Economic Investment and Business Development Desk, as well as the Ibadan Food Security Initiative, also known as Gaari Ibadan.

The event attracted prominent personalities from across Ibadanland, including members of the Olubadan-In-Council, community leaders, business figures, and other notable stakeholders.
