Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, are currently in a closed-door meeting with former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), at his Uphill Residence in Minna, Niger State.
Atiku arrived at the Minna Airport at about 1:30 pm and proceeded directly to Babangida’s residence for the meeting.
Governor Makinde arrived shortly after, at about 2:10 pm, and joined Atiku inside the residence as discussions commenced behind closed doors.
Although the agenda of the meeting has not been officially disclosed, the high-profile nature of the personalities involved has sparked political interest, especially amid ongoing developments within opposition parties and preparations ahead of future elections.
