Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment and confirmation of 32 officers as permanent secretaries in the state civil service to strengthen the administrative capacity of government ministries and agencies.
The approval was announced in a statement issued in Akure by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Those appointed include Tayo Ogundare, Morayo Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile, Stephen Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, Oluwakemi Akinyemi, and Bamidele Daisi.
Others are Akinluyi Omotola, Olumide Kinga, Ope Adetoye, Olusiji Olatunji, Oluseyi Odusola, Funke Adelayi, Akindele Ige, Olanrewaju Akarakiri, Abike Ilawole, Abimbola Tofowomo, and Kolawole Kayode.
Also confirmed are Peter Akingbade, Ayodeji Ogudare, Adeduro Akinbola, Ibidapo Ojo, Olusegun Orisabinone, Idowu Owolabi, Adeoye Atibioke, Toyin Awotoye, and Ayodeji Ayeku.
In addition, the governor approved the confirmation of Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General and Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
The appointments and confirmations take effect from February 1, 2026.
According to the statement, the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed and confirmed officers will be held on a date to be announced later.
The move is expected to enhance efficiency and service delivery across the state’s civil service.
