Afrobeats legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has acknowledged making mistakes in both his personal life and music career, expressing regret over some of his past actions.

Speaking in a recent interview on the Mic On podcast, the award-winning singer said he wished he could go back and make better decisions in certain situations.

“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed,” he said.

The music icon explained that some of his past decisions were influenced by emotional pressure and difficult moments, adding that he now reflects more deeply on his actions.

2Baba also addressed an alleged altercation involving his wife, Natasha Osawaru, in London, accepting responsibility and describing the incident as unfortunate.

“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he said.

The singer noted that his perspective has changed over time, admitting that he has become more reflective and emotionally aware.

2Baba, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential musicians, has remained a prominent figure in the entertainment industry for over two decades, earning acclaim for his music and contributions to the growth of Afrobeats globally.
