Bandits Attack Two Kano Communities, Abduct 25 Residents

Bandits have attacked two communities in the Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State, abducting at least 25 residents and injuring two others.

The attackers reportedly invaded Unguwar Tsamiya in Faruruwa village and the Dabawa community on Sunday night, moving from house to house before whisking away their victims.

The incident occurred less than 24 hours after a similar attack on Yan Kamaye in Tsanyawa LGA, another community located near the Katsina border.

The repeated attacks have raised fresh concerns over the effectiveness of security strategies in areas bordering Katsina and Kano States.
