Popular Nollywood actor, Rotimi Salami, has been hospitalised following a serious health scare.

The actor shared the update via his social media page, posting a photo of himself on a hospital bed and revealing that he narrowly escaped death within the past 48 hours.

Reflecting on the experience, Salami expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal, attributing his recovery to divine intervention. He also admitted that the intense physical and emotional demands of his recent project had taken a significant toll on his health.

According to him, the newly released cinema movie, Kilanko, which was produced in honour of late actress Allwell Ademola, contributed heavily to the strain he experienced.

The actor acknowledged that he had pushed himself beyond his limits during the production, suggesting that the stress and workload played a major role in the health crisis.

His revelation has sparked concern among fans and colleagues, many of whom have taken to social media to wish him a speedy recovery.
