Eid-el-Fitr: APC Urges Nigerians to Embrace Charity, Unity and Peace

The All Progressives Congress has extended warm greetings to Nigerians, particularly the Muslim faithful, on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, calling for renewed commitment to unity, peace, and compassion.

In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party encouraged citizens to uphold the values of Ramadan, including charity, obedience, sacrifice, and self-reflection.

The party described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant Islamic celebration that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period dedicated to fasting, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

It urged Nigerians to use the festive period to extend kindness and support to the less privileged, stressing the importance of fostering stronger community bonds through love, fellowship, and peaceful coexistence.

The APC also called on citizens to continue praying for the peace, unity, and progress of the country, expressing hope that the sacrifices and devotion observed during Ramadan would translate into lasting national development and shared prosperity.
