Renowned Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and her husband, Dr. Ivara Esege, are mourning the loss of their twin son, Nkanu Nnamdi, who passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, after a short illness.
The 21-month-old boy fell ill shortly before his death. Details regarding the nature of his illness and the circumstances of his death have not been released.
