Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has said she deliberately avoids attending certain events because she is mindful of people’s intentions.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Okorie warned that not all invitations are genuine, claiming that some are deliberately designed to harm or destroy unsuspecting guests.
She stressed the need for prayer and spiritual discernment, noting that only God can reveal the true intentions of people around an individual.
According to the actress, her absence from some social gatherings is often misunderstood, as some individuals who invite her do not genuinely like her but seek her presence because she “brings life to the party.”
Okorie added that no amount of appearance fee would convince her to attend places where her spirit warns her against going.
“I follow my spirit, and there are places I don’t go, no matter how much you want me to come, regardless of the artist’s fee,” she wrote.
She further cautioned people to be careful about the events they attend, alleging that some invitations are part of sinister plans, while thanking God for what she described as divine protection in her own life.
