Oyo Govt Sets Up Committee to Address Concerns Over Ibadan Circular Road Project

The Oyo State Government has constituted a multi-stakeholder committee to address rising concerns surrounding the ongoing Ibadan Circular Road project. The committee includes local government chairmen, mogajis, traditional rulers, community leaders, and representatives of relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

The initiative aims to strengthen advocacy efforts and enhance community sensitization as construction progresses.

Speaking during a press briefing at the Governor’s Office Complex in Ibadan, the Executive Assistant to the Governor on New Towns and Cities, Mrs. Mofoluke Adebiyi, said the committee was set up to ensure seamless engagement with affected communities and to foster a clear understanding of the project’s long-term benefits.

She noted that the state government remains committed to transparency, inclusiveness and sustainable development as it works to deliver the landmark infrastructure project.
