AWUJALE WAS A REFRESHING CANDOUR – ALAAFIN OF OYO

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, has commiserated with the Ogun State Government and the family of the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, over the demise of the monarch.

Owoade, in a condolence message released by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, said the late Awujale was known as “a great paramount ruler who had a futuristic vision and knew how to turn his ideas into real-world success stories.

He noted that the late Awujale was reputed as a highly respectable paramount ruler because “he adhered strictly to the values and core beliefs.”

He prayed Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest, and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
