Makinde approves recruitment of 181 staff for Oyo Assembly

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the recruitment of 181 staff for the Oyo State House of Assembly.

This was announced by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, during the governor’s midterm scorecard presentation held on Friday at the Assembly Complex in Agodi, Ibadan.

The Speaker, who noted that the occasion was to celebrate the second anniversary of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, said the recruitment exercise would be based on merit.

He added that the exercise is currently underway and efforts are being made to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are selected.

The event was attended by members of the state executive council, legislature, judiciary, traditional rulers, political leaders, civil society groups, and other key stakeholders in the state.
