The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to embark on a period of introspection, evaluating the performance of its elected officials at both federal and subnational levels.
The performance of the Tinubu Administration, including that of governors after two years, will come under the searchlight at a summit billed for the Banquet Hall at the Presidential Villa in Abuja today.
The event will host over 2,500 participants, including members of the Federal Executive Council, state governors, ministers, special advisers, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, as well as former governors, lawmakers, and party leaders. The APC National Chairman, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, will lead the party’s top brass at the gathering.
Key speakers at the summit include Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House Abbas Tajudeen, Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Progressives Governors Forum Chairman Hope Uzodimma, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume, and APC National Chairman Alhaji Umar Ganduje. Information Minister Mohammed Idris will provide an overview of the administration’s performance, while Ministers Muhammad Ali Pate (Health), Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Interior), Dave Umahi (Works), and Olawale Edun (Finance) will present detailed reports on the activities of their respective ministries for review.
