President Bola Tinubu has commissioned a state-of-the art Data complex, to enhance National Security and efficiency of the country’s Migration/Border Management processes.
The President arrived at the Nigeria Immigration Service headquarters in Abuja few minutes past the hour of 12pm and was received by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nandap.
The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology Innovation Complex will ascertain the risk level of persons entering the country, detect irregular migration patterns and monitor unmanned borders in hard-to-reach areas nationwide.
Some retired military personnel have grounded activities at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja this morning over their unpaid 20% to 28% pension increment from January to November 2024.
